Our Romance Book Buy-Back Program All great loves deserve a second chance — and so do your books! Bring your gently loved romance novels to Romantasy Bookstore on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and turn them into store credit for your next great read.
What You'll Earn Paperback romance novels earn $1.00 in store credit, hardcover romance novels earn $2.00, and special editions or limited releases earn $3.00 at manager discretion.
What We Accept We love romance novels in good condition including romantasy, contemporary, historical, paranormal, and LGBTQ+ romance. We welcome BookTok favorites, bestsellers, and popular series published within the last 10 years. Books should have clean covers, readable spines, and no missing pages.
What We Cannot Accept We are unable to accept books with heavy highlighting, writing, or damage, water damaged or moldy books, non-romance genres, textbooks, or self-published titles unless they are part of a pre-approved popular series.
How It Works Bring a minimum of 5 books per visit and our staff will evaluate each one for condition and marketability. You will receive an itemized receipt showing your credit breakdown. Store credit never expires and can be used on anything in store including books, toys, and lingerie. We accept a maximum of 25 books per customer per month. Any books we cannot accept will be returned to you or donated with your permission.
