We are a romance and romantasy bookstore in South Jersey with shops in Lumberton, NJ and Turnersville, NJ. We carry steamy dark romance, epic romantasy adventures, slow burn contemporary romance, and LGBTQ+ fiction, all in a welcoming space with no judgment and no pretension, just great books and people who love them as much as you do.

Romantasy Bookstore was created by Dee Bertino, a lifelong reader who can talk about the full spectrum of romance, including the complicated, the taboo, and the deliciously dark, with warmth and zero awkwardness. She is the friend you never knew you needed at a bookstore, always listening and always knowing exactly what you should read next.

Rooted in a family business with deep South Jersey ties since the early 1990s, Romantasy is proudly independent and locally owned, built on hard work, inclusivity, and genuine connection.
