Indie Bookstore Day at Romantasy Bookstore

Indie Bookstore Day is basically a holiday for people who still believe in the magic of browsing shelves, getting personally attacked by a perfect book recommendation, and leaving with “just one” book (plus three more you accidentally adopted). It’s a nationwide celebration of independent bookstores—aka the places that keep communities reading, authors visible, and bookish joy fully stocked.

This year, Romantasy Bookstore is celebrating in true Romantasy fashion: author signings at both locations, treats, and a signature quest that rewards your dedication.

What is Indie Bookstore Day?

Indie Bookstore Day is an annual celebration of independent bookstores—typically held in late April—designed to encourage readers to shop small, discover new authors, and show love to the local stores that make reading feel personal.

For customers, it’s a “make a day of it” moment. For bookstores, it’s a chance to create an experience: events, exclusives, giveaways, and the kind of community energy you can’t get from a one-click cart.

We’re turning Indie Bookstore Day into a two-stop, romance-reader adventure.

The Signature Quest (win a $100 gift card)

Here’s the deal:

·         Visit both Romantasy locations on April 25

·         Get 6 author signatures from both stores

·         Turn in your completed Signature Card

·         You’ll be entered to win a $100 Romantasy Gift Card (redeemable at Romantasy Bookstore + Fantasy Gifts)
