When Life Gives You Lemons… Romantasy Bookstore Turnersville Hosts a Lemon-Themed Book Party for Local Author Christy Schillig’s Wish You Weren’t Here (New Cover Re-Release)

Romantasy Bookstore Turnersville will get a taste of Italy this summer as local author Christy Schillig celebrates the re-release of her novel Wish You Weren’t Here with a lemon-themed book party and signing on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM. The event marks the launch of the book’s brand-new cover art and invites readers to lean into a “fresh start” mood.

Guests can meet Schillig, purchase a copy of Wish You Weren’t Here, and have it signed during the event. The evening will also feature lemonade, limoncello, and assorted Italian pastries/cookies, plus fun activities.

Highlights include a Lemon “Blind Date with a Book” mini table (wrapped selections with trope tags), a Postcard Confession Wall where attendees can “write a postcard to your ex (that you’ll never send),” and a Lemon Charm Bar to create a simple keychain or bookmark with lemon charms and tassels. Guests are also invited to dress in white and yellow (optional) to match the Amalfi-inspired theme.

A raffle will award one winner a “Hot Summer in Italy” basket, featuring a curated mix of themed items including a lemon toy (from Fantasy Gifts!), a candle, and a copy of the book.
