The Vibe

In present-day Savannah, Lilith Legare is struggling to find her footing after the death of her mother. Strange occurrences, unsettling nightmares, and an inexplicable mark on her arm lead her across the ocean to an old English manor, where the secrets of her family’s past begin to surface.

Centuries earlier, in 1645 Suffolk, Sybil Brantham is an educated, independent widow living in a world that views a woman’s independence with suspicion. As accusations of witchcraft spread through her community, Sybil must find the strength to protect those she loves while navigating a world growing increasingly dangerous.

Atmospheric and richly layered, this spellbinding story weaves together two timelines through the mysteries of family, the persecution of women, and the enduring power of female resilience. With an evocative historical setting and a touch of magic, Martin explores what happens when women refuse to let fear dictate their lives.
