Lottie Gardner has a plan. After being fired by her arch nemesis, she heads to Beverly Hills in search of a wealthy man willing to play the role of her new fiancé and make her former boss jealous. Then she literally bumps into Huxley Cane, a gorgeous billionaire who is having a very bad day of his own.
Huxley needs a fake fiancée to rescue an important business deal, and Lottie is desperate enough to agree. Soon, she's living in his mansion, attending intimate double dates, and pretending they're madly in love. What starts as a mutually beneficial arrangement becomes increasingly complicated when their carefully constructed fake relationship begins to feel surprisingly real.

The Vibe
Lottie is sassy, determined, and resourceful, with enough confidence and chaos to hold her own when she finds herself living in the billionaire world of Huxley Cane. What begins as an unconventional scheme quickly becomes much harder to navigate when real feelings enter the arrangement.
Huxley is a wealthy, driven, and notoriously grumpy businessman who is used to getting exactly what he wants. Lottie's refusal to simply fall in line makes their forced proximity especially entertaining, creating plenty of banter, tension, and chemistry as their fake engagement starts blurring the line between performance and reality.
With a Pretty Woman-inspired setup, mansion living, outrageous situations, witty banter, and plenty of heat, A Not So Meet Cute delivers the kind of hilarious, steamy contemporary romance that makes fake relationships so addictive.
