dark romance • enemies to lovers • forbidden romance • marriage of convenience • Greek mythology retelling

Ariadne Vitalis has betrayed her father and his powerful benefactor, leaving her with nowhere to turn except Olympus. But safety in the city always comes at a price, and hers is a sham marriage to Dionysus. The problem is that the only man Ariadne has ever truly wanted is the one she fears most, the deadly Minotaur who was promised her as a reward for his loyalty.

The Minotaur has spent years doing whatever was necessary to earn Ariadne, and he has no intention of accepting a different man as her husband. But Ariadne knows exactly how dangerous he is, and she cannot forget the terrible things he has done. As desire collides with resentment, their volatile connection threatens to consume them both.

The Vibe

Ariadne is a strong, curvy heroine who has spent her life navigating the dangerous expectations of her powerful family. Betrayal has forced her into a precarious new position, but she refuses to surrender control of her future, even when the man who has haunted her desires becomes impossible to resist.

The Minotaur is a tortured, possessive antihero who has built his reputation through violence and unwavering loyalty to those who hold power over him. His fixation on Ariadne is intense and complicated, especially as his devotion clashes with the darker choices he has made and the things she cannot forgive.

With a dangerous attraction, obsessive devotion, a sham marriage, political intrigue, and scorching chemistry, Dark Restraint puts a modern, dark-romance spin on the myth of Ariadne and the Minotaur. The result is a high-stakes story of desire, betrayal, power, and the kind of love that threatens to bring all of Olympus crashing down.
