Dark academia • professor/student • serial killer romance • secret society • horror film student FMC • “Gothikana meets Dexter” • obsession + danger • check TWs
A sinfully dark, cinematic romance that blends gothic academia with serial-killer obsession—Gothikana meets Dexter, with a horror-obsessed film student unknowingly hunting the very man she’s falling into bed with. Pink Ink is twisted, seductive, and high-stakes, where art and violence blur into the same ink-black line.
The vibe
There’s a serial killer prowling the city, staging murders like macabre masterpieces—carefully curated scenes packed with artistic references and motifs no one else seems to notice. No one… except her. When she recreates one of the murders for a film project at Cresswell University, she thinks she’s making art.
Instead, she unknowingly presents it to the killer himself: Professor Maddox Shaw—world-renowned artist, brooding professor, and a man desperate to recapture his muse. Maddox is also trapped in the web of a dangerous secret society, and the more she gets pulled into his orbit, the more alive she feels… even as the danger sharpens.
Sleeping with your professor is bad enough. Sleeping with a serial killer is worse. And when trouble comes, it isn’t Maddox who brings it—it’s the powerful people pulling his strings, willing to cross any line to keep their secrets buried. Maddox, meanwhile, has only one rule: if they come for her, he’ll do what he does best to keep her. After all… he’s good at killing people.
