Once in a Timeline by Iman Hariri-Kia

time-loop romance • forced proximity • slow burn • opposites attract

When a picture-perfect social media life starts repeating itself, Laia Grace realizes she is no longer creating the content, she is trapped inside it. Then a mysterious stranger crashes into her carefully curated world, and escaping the algorithm becomes a challenge they will have to face together.

The Vibe

Laia Grace has built her New York City influencer persona around perfection. Every detail of her life is polished, aesthetic, and designed to look effortless. But when her seemingly perfect routine begins to glitch, Laia finds herself caught in an endless loop with no obvious way out.

Noah is the brooding, decidedly unfiltered stranger who appears in her timeline and, somehow, remembers what is happening. Forced to work together, the two discover an unexpected connection as they search for a way beyond the algorithm.

With witty banter, slow-burning chemistry, magical realism, and a clever contemporary premise, Once in a Timeline blends romance with a thoughtful exploration of authenticity, identity, and the pressure to present a perfect life online.
