The kingdom of Ilya is in turmoil, and the line between love and betrayal has never been more dangerous.

After surviving the Purging Trials and killing the King, Paedyn Gray has become the face of a growing Resistance. Now she is on the run from the one person she once longed to turn to. Kai Azer, newly appointed Enforcer to his brother Kitt, Ilya’s new King, has been ordered to find Paedyn and bring her to justice.

Across the deadly Scorches and into the hostile city of Dor, Kai hunts the woman he cannot stop wanting. But in a city without Elites, the balance of power shifts, forcing both of them to confront what they believe, whom they trust, and what they are willing to sacrifice. With duty pulling them apart and desire drawing them together, their pursuit becomes a dangerous battle of loyalty, love, and survival.

The Vibe

Paedyn is resourceful, fiercely independent, and determined to survive in a kingdom that has branded her an enemy. With the Resistance growing around her, she must navigate danger while questioning where her loyalties truly lie.

Kai is a formidable Enforcer caught between his duty to the crown and his feelings for the woman he has been commanded to capture. His loyalty to his brother clashes with the desire he cannot simply command away.

Expect a tension-filled romantasy with a relentless pursuit, sharp emotional stakes, betrayal, and a slow-burning romance set against a kingdom on the brink of rebellion. Perfect for readers who love forbidden love, complicated loyalties, and the ache of wanting someone who may be your greatest enemy.
