Some monsters are better left in the stories. Others are impossible to resist. In a New York City forever changed by a devastating war between humans and monsters, gifted thief Kierse is about to break the fragile peace between the two worlds. Her target is the Holly Library, but the creature who calls it home has a different offer in mind. Bound by a dangerous bargain, Kierse must put her freedom and her extraordinary talents on the line, only to discover that her mysterious employer has been playing a game centuries in the making. Dark, seductive, and filled with supernatural intrigue, K.A. Linde's bestselling romantasy invites readers into a world where the most terrifying monsters may be the ones we least expect.
